I think it is smaller fit,so I recommend buying a size bigger for an average grown kid and 2 size bigger for a taller kid.
You could have given a wider space from the crotch area. My son is very slim and still uncomfortable .

You are forcing consumers to buy product fraudulently, I am experiencing this with my current order. I have ordered different design for my grandkids. At first you delayed the dispatch and then dispatched wrong item.
